Mr. Dato, has been practicing law in Florida for over twenty years in the areas of business law, construction law, civil litigation, contract law, real estate, DUI and criminal Law . Graduating from Stetson University he went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Dato served as an Assistant State Attorney (Prosecutor) for the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office for eight and a half years. During his time as a Prosecutor, Mr. Dato served as a Felony Division  Deputy Chief, Deputy Chief  for the Narcotics Division, Lead Trial Attorney in the Domestic Violence Division, Designated Environmental Crimes Prosecutor, Misdemeanor, DUI, Traffic & Juvenile Crimes Prosecutor.

After Mr. Dato left the State Attorney’s Office, he worked for several prestigious litigation firms, where he focused in areas of civil litigation, business litigation,  construction law, and surety law.

Mr. Dato opened his own practice in 2003 specializing in the areas of business, contracts, civil litigation real estate and DUI and criminal law and has been putting his experience to work for his clients ever since.
